The 2018 SIA National Health and Safety Conference will be held from 23-24 May 2018 at the Melbourne Convention & Convention. Part of the #SAFETYSCAPE program, the conference will bring together stakeholders across the health and safety profession to discuss some of the challenges currently faced by WHS professionals and practitioners and explore the impacts these have on the OHS profession, as well as new ideas, innovation, research and leadership.
The 2018 SIA National Health & Safety Conference will explore the theme: In Practice.
The program which is currently in development, is acquiring some of the best national and international speakers to explore the challenges and opportunities inherent in getting the health and safety message understood, communicated and implemented across company and industry.
The conference theme In Practice will focus on a range of sub-topics which will include:

- Diversity in Leadership
- Theory into Practice: Action Learning
- Theory into Practice: Action Research
- Health & Wellbeing
- safety Insights
The convention is a two day conference program bookended by a series of events including the Conference Dinner and CEO’s breakfast.
