Tasmanian Minister Launches Cutting Edge OH S.... Campaign to Promote Workplace Safety

tas logoDavid O'Byrne the Tasmanian Minister for Workplace Relations launched a new campaign yesterday to remind Tasmania businesses to get ready for the new National Laws.

"the OH S... campaign plays upon the OH&S acronym" he said. "OH S… is the understandable gut reaction of any worker, manager or business owner when they hear there's been an accident in the workplace," Mr O'Byrne said. "This campaign uses that first reactionary moment to try and promote how workplaces can be proactive on work health and safety.

WorkSafe Tasmania, are running many free information sessions in the lead up to the new model work health and safety laws implementation. The sessions are being held across the state during the WorkSafe Tasmania Month which runs from 1 October – 2 November 2012.
